One Day Training workshop on “Advance Processes and Innovative Techniques in Welding & Challenges in Implementation by Industry”

The one Day Training workshop on “Advance Processes and Innovative Techniques in Welding & Challenges in Implementation by Industry” Was organized by JK Centre for Technician Training, Kanpur in coordination with the Indian Institute of Welding (IIW-India) & Kanpur Productivity Council on 15th Feb 2014 at a glittering ceremony at 81-B Dada Nagar, Kanpur.
The workshop was chaired by Mr. Ranjoy Banerjee, Executive Director Indian Institute of Welding, Kolkata along with Mr. Vijay S Agwan ( Regional Dir west IIW-India) & Mr. Pradeep Paul, Regional Dir North IIW-India. The sessions were inaugurated by Mr. Naveen Khanna, President IIA Kanpur & Mr. R. K. Agarwal, MD Netplast Pvt Ltd Kanpur.
The Technical sessions dealt in detail on MIG, TIG & Argon Welding along with the spot Welding, Brazing, Inspection & Testing, health & safety on the shop floors, besides fusion the welding. The workshop was attended by 115 participants from Jhansi, Lalitpur, Hardoi, Lucknow, Barabanki, Nimbahera, Mudhol, Karnataka & Kanpur. The active participations of delegates lead to clarify more than 175 questions during the sessions which lead to improvement in the knowledge & implementation of the welding processes on the shop floor.
Precise & advance technologies on the MIG & Argon welding in shape of papers were provided to the participants by way of DVDs for their future references. Participating certificates were also provided to each participants.
A Total of 115 participants from the different PSUs like BHEL, HAL, & private cos like Bajaj Power, JK Cement Ltd, DSCL Sugar along with the several units of Kanpur Industrial area like Netplast Pvt Ltd, B K Precision, India Thermit, BK Precision, Thermodynamics Services, Pankaj Steel, Resinova Chemie & faculty from IIT Kanpur participated in the workshop.
It was first of it’s kind Training workshop to be organized for the benefit of Industry & an excellent opportunity for the individuals involved in maintenance, production & shop floors to avail the benefit of this program for refining the execution of their jobs at site for fabrication.
The Program was also attended by Mr. Lalit Khanna (Head of Operations, JKCT, Mr. P.C. Bhandari (Academic Head, JKCT), Mr. Md Umar (Advisor JKCT), Mr. A. K. Pandey (Principal, JKITC), Mr. Ashutosh Tiwari (Manager JKCT) & all the tem members of JKCT.
